Stellate Ganglion Blocks for PTSD

Wells Medicine partners with non-profit foundations to provide Stellate Ganglion Blocks to treat PTSD at reduced cost for qualifying patients.

Sponsorship may only be provided in advance of an SGB treatment and cannot be used to cover the cost of a previous treatment.

For Veterans

A Stellate Ganglion Block may be provided at no cost for veterans treating PTSD.

There is no waitlist at this time for these sponsored treatments.

Steps to sponsored treatment:

  • Contact us at Wells Medicine to express interest in sponsored SGB treatment for veterans
  • We will direct you to our partnering foundation to submit an application. You will be asked to provide basic medical information and complete a questionnaire regarding your current PTSD symptoms
  • We will coordinate details of scheduling and treatment plan with you
  • If you qualify, the Stellate Ganglion Block will be provided at no cost to you

Veterans may reapply for sponsorship for future SGBs as needed and as funding is available.

For PTSD

A Stellate Ganglion Block may be provided at a no cost for patients treating PTSD. This sponsorship is dependent on financial need and is not restricted to veterans or patients treating trauma related to military service.

There is a waitlist at this time for sponsored treatment, pending funds available to the foundation.

Steps to sponsored treatment

  • Contact Wells Medicine to express interest in sponsored SGB treatment for PTSD
  • We will direct you to our partnering foundation to submit an application for sponsorship. You will be asked to provide basic medical information, answer broad, non-invasive questions about your PTSD, and submit information regarding your income and expenses
  • After completing your application, you will be added to a waitlist to receive financial support. The foundation will communicate all updates and information regarding your waitlist status. Wells Medicine is unable make any predictions or guarantees regarding wait times for sponsorship
  • After your application has been approved from the waitlist, you may schedule an appointment with Wells Medicine
  • The Stellate Ganglion Block will be provided at no cost to you

Patients may reapply for sponsorship and be added to the waitlist one year after their SGB.
