Pain Management

The following recommendations may be helpful to extend or improve the results of mental health treatments provided by Wells Medicine and may be helpful on their own. These supplementary resources and advice are not exhaustive and do not serve as medical advice or substitute for medical care.

Effective pain management techniques are important not only for improving the immediate mood and condition of a patient, but also for enabling a patient to maintain an improved baseline. When you are able to manage your pain to a degree that allows you to resume activities that keep you healthy, such as exercising and sleeping well, and activities that bring you joy, you are more likely to see improvements to your mood overall.

We have found these resources to be useful for managing various kinds of pain in some patients. These resources are not exhaustive and may vary in effectiveness between patients. Techniques and treatments may not eliminate pain entirely, but may provide some amount of relief that allows you to move closer to resuming healthy and joyful activities.
