Allison Wells MD MBA FASA FACHE CPE CMQ
Dr Allison Wells is a licensed, board-certified anesthesiologist with expertise in anesthesia from ambulatory care to complex surgical cases, and extensive experience in ketamine infusions and outpatient procedures. Her passion is helping patients achieve the best-possible outcomes in a safe, professional and comfortable manner.
Dr Wells is an experience-leader in interventional treatments for mood disorders and pain conditions. She co-founded one of the first focused clinics providing ketamine infusions in the country, and the first in Houston, providing over 11,000 infusions since 2015. She actively contributes to the field with research, advocacy, and efforts that expand access to care.
Dr Wells holds degrees from Swarthmore, Baylor College of Medicine, and UMass Amherst, and she trained at Baylor College of Medicine and Harvard Medical School. She is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Baylor College of Medicine, a district director of the Texas Society of Anesthesiologists, a founding board member of The Ketamine TaskForce, and an executive board member of Legacy Health. She is a fellow of the American Society Anesthesiologists, a fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives, a Certified Physician Executive, and a member of the American Society of Anesthesiologists, the Texas Society of Anesthesiologists and the Texas Medical Association.
Jesse Wells
Jesse Wells holds degrees from Swarthmore and Harvard. His experience spans research, design, project management, program management, capital planning and medical management. He brings this experience across disciplines to operations and strategy.
Jesse co-founded one of the first focused clinics providing ketamine infusions in country, and the first in Houston. He is passionate about mission-driven work that helps others. And he’s passionate about leveraging continuous improvement across endeavors – from a masters thesis in complex system optimization, to R&D in program management and lean processes, through management consulting and operations – working toward building great service and medicine that matters at Wells Medicine every day.
Sarah
Sarah is a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist who has cared for patients across all stages of life, both as a nurse and nurse anesthetist. She began her healthcare career as a neonatal ICU nurse, then as a pediatric nurse anesthetist for the first decade of her career as an advanced practice provider. She has served in leadership roles and international medical missions with the aim to promote access to anesthesia care. She has a passion for teaching and has lectured on pharmacology and physiology at collegiate and national levels.
Sarah is dedicated to engaging and addressing the challenges individuals and families endure to inspire and empower others to overcome cycles of familial, economic and personal distress. Her life experiences aid her in caring for patients, and she is glad to help them overcome distinct challenges through collaborative care.
