Ketamine IV Infusion – for Psychiatric Symptoms
Ketamine Infusions can be an excellent treatment option, leading to clinically significant reductions in symptoms of depression for about 70% of patients, and with benefits for anxiety, PTSD, OCD and other mood disorders.
Ketamine IV Infusion – for Pain Conditions
Ketamine infusion therapy can be an excellent option for certain pain conditions including CRPS / RSD, Neuralgias including Trigeminal Neuralgia and Occipital Neuralgia, Pudendal Pain and Fibromyalgia. Ketamine may be especially useful when other options don’t seem to work.
Ketamine IM or Intranasal Treatments – for Psychiatric Conditions
Ketamine by Intra-Muscular Injection (IM) or by Intranasal Administration using a nebulizer or spray is similar to a Ketamine Infusion by IV. Although likely not as robust as an IV infusion, these treatment options are preferable in some cases. We use racemic ketamine for these treatments – not Spravato.
Ultrasound Guided Stellate Ganglion Blocks (SGB)
Stellate Ganglion Blocks target nerve clusters of the sympathetic nervous system responsible for our fight or flight response, and the SGB can significantly and rapidly improve symptoms of PTSD and some other conditions in many cases.
Nitrous Oxide Treatment
Nitrous Oxide is an NMDA antagonist and appears to work in a similar way and have similar results to ketamine. Although likely not as robust, it is a preferable option for some patients.
