To ensure that your ketamine infusion is as comfortable as possible:
- We help set up your room to be comfortable with a cozy chair, dim lights, blankets, and eye masks.
- We recommend that you wear comfortable clothing.
- We encourage you to bring music that you enjoy – preferably music without words.
- You are welcome to bring your own items for comfort, such as a favorite blanket, soft toy, or eye mask.
- You may have a friend or loved one sit quietly with you throughout the infusion if you’d like.
- Peaceful breathing and meditation can help set you up for a smooth ketamine journey.
- Taking care of all the details of the appointment beforehand will help – Ensuring that you do not eat or drink for about 6 hours before the appointment, showing up 15 minutes early, and having a ride arranged after the appointment.
- Scheduling a free few hours, or taking the rest of the day off, after an infusion will help ease your mind and establish a healthy routine around your appointment.
